Abstract
Method For Transferring Coil Springs From A Coil Winding Device To A Conveyor Belt Of A Pocketed Coil Assembly Machine A mechanism for transferring coil springs from a coil winding device to a conveyor belt of a pocketed coil assembly machine comprises a magnetic lift platform for engaging a coil spring before being released at an output of the coil winding device. Further, the mechanism comprises a drive mechanism for moving the lift platform between the output of the coil winding device and the conveyor belt.

A method for transferring coil springs from a coil winding device to a conveyor belt of a pocketed coil assembly machine, the method comprising the steps:
- before release of a coil spring in a substantially vertical orientation at an output of the coil winding device, engaging a lower end ring of the coil spring on a substantially horizontal upper surface of a magnetic lift platform;
- moving the lift platform between the output of the coil winding device and the conveyor belt;
- and
- pushing the coil spring by a slider from the lift platform to the conveyor belt, the coil spring being received by said conveyor belt in a substantially vertical orientation.
A method for transferring coil springs from a coil winding device to a conveyor belt of a pocketed coil assembly machine, the method comprising the steps:
- before release of a coil spring at an output of the coil winding device, engaging a lower end ring of the coil spring on a substantially horizontal upper surface of a magnetic lift platform;
- moving the lift platform between the output of the coil winding device and the conveyor belt;
- and
- pushing the coil spring by a slider from the lift platform to the conveyor belt, the coil spring being received by said conveyor belt in a substantially vertical orientation.
