The invention relates to a plate-shaped structure designed for covering a reservoir, said plate-shaped structure comprises a substantially flat surface and a flange at the periphery of the substantially flat upper surface, wherein the flange comprises plurality of openings designed to receive a protrusion on an exterior sidewall of the reservoir, thereby covering the reservoir. The invention also relates to an assembly comprising a reservoir comprising an upwardly extending exterior sidewall comprising outwardly extending protrusion and a plate-shaped structure of the invention wherein the downwardly oriented flange comprises openings designed for receiving one or more protrusions on the upwardly extending exterior sidewall of the reservoir, preferably the assembly being a drinking cup and a cover. The invention also relates to a process for the manufacture of the plate-shaped structure using a pulp molding process.

A structure according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the side wall of the drain opening is entirely formed from paper material.

An assembly of a structure according to any of the preceding claims and a reservoir for storing moisture for moistening the plant, wherein the structure covers the reservoir, the reservoir comprising an upwardly extending exterior sidewall, extending to the structure, the side wall comprising a rim along at least part of the circumference of the reservoir, the rim creating a step profile in a cross-section of the exterior sidewall.
A structure according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the central opening supports a sheath foil surrounding the plant.
A structure according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the plate shaped structure forms a collection structure for collecting moisture present in the atmosphere.
A structure according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the collection structure and/or the reservoir comprises a stay defining a predefined offset between opposite sections of the interior sidewall top edge.
A structure according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the structure and the reservoir are manufactured from paper material and/or biodegradable plastic.
An autonomous unit, comprising a plate-shaped structure according to any of the preceding claims, connected to a reservoir.
