Abstract
The charging system includes a power storage device including a first battery and a second battery, and a control device that performs charging control of the power storage device. The power storage device is configured to execute series charging in a state in which the first battery and the second battery are connected in series, and parallel charging in a state in which the first battery and the second battery are connected in parallel. The control device is configured to switch a charging method from the series charging to the parallel charging after voltage of the power storage device during the series charging reaches a predetermined value, and continue charging the power storage device.

A charging system comprising:
- a power storage device including a first battery and a second battery;
- and
- a control device for performing charging control of the power storage device, wherein:
- the power storage device is configured to execute series charging in a state in which the first battery and the second battery are connected in series, and parallel charging in a state in which the first battery and the second battery are connected in parallel;
- and
- the control device is configured to switch a charging method from the series charging to the parallel charging after voltage of the power storage device during the series charging reaches a predetermined value, and continue charging the power storage device.
