Abstract
A dispensing device for dispensing a dose of a medicament is provided. The device includes a feed channel configured to receive a plurality of dosage units of a medicament, a dose selector configured to receive an input specifying a number of dosage units of the medicament to be dispensed from the feed channel, a dose separator configured to separate a subset of the dosage units from the plurality of dosage units in the feed channel, and a dose dispenser configured to dispense the separated subset of the dosage units from the feed channel. The dose selector is mechanically coupled to the dose separator to enable the dose separator to separate the specified number of dosage units from the plurality of dosage units in the feed channel.

A dispensing device, comprising;
- a feed channel configured to receive a plurality of dosage units of a medicament;
- a dose selector configured to receive an input specifying a number of dosage units of the medicament to be dispensed from the feed channel;
- a dose separator configured to separate a subset of the dosage units from the plurality of dosage units in the feed channel;
- and
- a dose mechanism configured to dispense the separated subset of the dosage units from the feed channel;
- wherein the dose selector is mechanically coupled to the dose separator to enable the dose separator to separate the specified number of dosage units from the plurality of dosage units in the feed channel.
