The present invention provides systems, methods, and articles for stress reduction and sleep promotion. A stress reduction and sleep promotion system includes at least one remote device, at least one body sensor, and at least one remote server. In other embodiments, the stress reduction and sleep promotion system includes machine learning.

An article for temperature-conditioning a surface comprising:
- a first layer having affixed to a second layer defining an interior chamber therebetween;
- and
- a plurality of openings extending through the first layer and the second layer, wherein the plurality of openings defines a shape of the interior chamber.
A sleep system comprising:
- an article for temperature-conditioning a surface comprising:
- a first layer affixed to a second layer defining an interior chamber therebetween;
- and
- a plurality of openings extending through the first layer and the second layer, wherein the plurality of openings defines a shape of the interior chamber;
- and
- at least one control unit in fluidic communication with the article, the at least one control unit operable to selectively cool or heat a fluid and deliver the fluid to the article.
