A backpack adapted to transform into a seat for use on hard seats commonly found at concert and sporting venues, the backpack comprising a lower portion unfoldable from a seat portion, the lower portion having a plurality of pockets.

A backpack having an integrated cushion, the backpack comprising:
- a seat portion comprising a cushion envelope comprising a zipper, the cushion envelope enveloping and comprising a cushion;
- a lower section comprising a flexible polymeric material, the lower portion hingedly affixed to a forward surface of the seat portion, the lower portion comprising a plurality of pockets;
- wherein the lower section is adapted to fold across a top surface of the seat portion;
- a plurality of straps affixed to the seat portion.
