An aerosol generating component including a material having a grain, wherein the orientation of the grain of the material is substantially orthogonal to an axis upon which electrical connectors of the aerosol generating component are located.

An aerosol generating component comprising a material having a grain, wherein the orientation of the grain of the material is substantially orthogonal to an axis upon which electrical connectors of the aerosol generating component are located.
An aerosol generating component comprising a material having a grain, wherein the orientation of the grain of the material is substantially parallel with one or more elongate apertures provided in the aerosol generating component.
A method of manufacturing an aerosol generating component, the method comprising:
- providing an aerosol generating component comprising a material having a grain;
- and
- processing the material so that the orientation of the grain of the material is substantially orthogonal to an axis upon which electrical connectors of the aerosol generating component are located.
A method of manufacturing an aerosol generating component, the method comprising:
- providing an aerosol generating component comprising a material having a grain;
- and
- processing the material so that the orientation of the grain of the material is substantially parallel to one or more elongate apertures provided in the aerosol generating component.
