A control arrangement for controlling an electronic device, the control arrangement comprising:

• an inner controller coupled to the electronic device and configured to generate at least one control signal to control the electronic device based on at least one instruction signal from an outer controller;
• and
• a smart controller coupled to the inner controller and configured to provide at least one substitute instruction signal to control the electronic device to the inner controller if an abnormality related to a signal traffic between the inner controller and the outer controller is detected,
• wherein the smart controller comprises a machine learning model, which has been trained to imitate a behavior of the outer controller and which is configured to provide at least one substitute instruction signal to control the electronic device to the inner controller if the abnormality related to the signal traffic between the inner controller and the outer controller is detected.
