Abstract
A flavor composition comprising a compound according to formula (I) wherein R1, R2, R3, and R4 independently represent hydrogen or alkyl. A consumable including a flavor composition containing the compound according to formula (I) is also provided. Also provided is a method for imparting, enhancing and/or modifying the buttery, creamy or fatty taste, aroma and/or mouthfeel of a consumable comprising adding to a consumable an organoleptically effective amount of a flavor composition containing the compound according to formula (I).

A flavor composition comprising a compound according to formula (I)
- wherein R1, R2, R3, and R4 independently represent hydrogen or alkyl.
A method for imparting, enhancing and/or modifying the buttery taste, aroma and/or mouthfeel of a consumable, said method comprising adding to said consumable an organoleptically effective amount of a compound according to formula (I)
