Abstract
The present invention primarily relates to the (selective) use of phenmedipham in the crop plants corn, cotton and soybean, and to certain herbicidally active combinations or compositions comprising (A) phenmedipham and (B) one or more aroylcyclohexanedione herbicides. The invention further relates to the use of these combinations for controlling weeds, and to corresponding methods.

An herbicidal combination comprising a plurality of active herbicidal ingredients, wherein the plurality of active herbicidal ingredients in the combination comprises:
- phenmedipham;
- and
- one or more aroylcyclohexanedione herbicides.

A method for controlling unwanted plants in crops of useful crop plants, the method comprising applying phenmedipham to the unwanted plants, wherein the useful crop plants are selected from the group consisting of corn, cotton and soybean.
