Encapsulation layer, display panel having the same and display device including the same

A display panel comprising:

• a display area comprising a front area and a bending area which is bent from a side of the front area to have a curvature;
• a base layer;
• a circuit layer on the base layer;
• a light emitting element layer on the circuit layer, the light emitting element layer comprising a light emitting element overlapping the display area;
• and
• an encapsulation layer on the light emitting element layer,
• wherein the encapsulation layer comprises:
• a first inorganic layer, a first organic layer and a second inorganic layer in order from the light emitting element layer,
• a first thickness portion overlapping the front area,
• a second thickness portion overlapping the bending area, and
• a first distance from a top surface of the base layer to a top surface of the encapsulation layer at the first thickness portion which is less than a second distance from the top surface of the base layer to a top surface of the encapsulation layer at the second thickness portion.

A display device comprising:

• a display panel which emits light;
• an input sensing layer including an input sensor, on the display panel;
• and
• a window on the input sensing layer,
• wherein the display panel comprises:
• a display area comprising a front area and a bending area which is bent from a side of the front area to have a curvature;
• a non-display area adjacent to the display area;
• a base layer;
• a circuit layer on the base layer;
• a light emitting element layer on the circuit layer, the light emitting element layer comprising a light emitting element overlapping the display area;
• and
• an encapsulation layer on the light emitting element layer, the encapsulation layer comprising:
• a first thickness portion overlapping the front area,
• a second thickness portion overlapping the bending area, and
• a first distance from a top surface of the base layer to a top surface of the encapsulation layer at the first thickness portion which is less than a second distance from the top surface of the base layer to a top surface of the encapsulation layer at the second thickness portion.
