Electroluminescence display device having a through-hole in display area

An electroluminescence display device comprising:

• at least one pixel disposed in a display area of a substrate, the at least one pixel including a pixel driving electrode, a light emitting layer and a common electrode;
• a through-hole in the display area, the through-hole extending through opposite sides of the substrate;
• and
• a hole-trench disposed around the through-hole,
• wherein a portion of the light emitting layer is disposed in the hole-trench, and a portion of the common electrode is disposed in the hole-trench, and
• wherein at least one of the light emitting layer and the common electrode is disconnected at an entrance of the hole-trench.

An electroluminescence display device comprising:

• at least one pixel disposed in a display area of a substrate, the at least one pixel including a pixel driving electrode, a light emitting layer and a common electrode;
• a through-hole in the display area, the through-hole extending through opposite sides of the substrate;
• and
• a hole-trench disposed around the through-hole,
• wherein a portion of the light emitting layer is disposed in the hole-trench, and a portion of the common electrode is disposed in the hole-trench, and
• wherein the portion of the light emitting layer directly contacts a bottom surface of the hole-trench, and the portion of the light emitting layer is disconnected from the at least one pixel.
