Abstract
This application discloses a data transmission method and a related device. On a basis of information synchronization between a mobile phone and a head unit by using Bluetooth in an existing PBAP, additional information (for example, a profile picture of a contact in an address book, SIM card information in a call record, a home location of an operator, yellow page information, and a call status) is synchronized by using another data exchange technology (for example, a distributed data service).

A method, comprising:
- establishing, by a first electronic device, a communication connection to a second electronic device;
- receiving, by the first electronic device, based on the communication connection, a first portion of first data, the first portion of the first data being sent by the second electronic device in a first manner;
- receiving, by the first electronic device based on the communication connection, a second portion of the first data, the second portion of the first data being sent by the second electronic device in a second manner;
- and
- displaying, by the first electronic device, a first object based on the first portion of the first data and the second portion of the first data, wherein the first manner is different from the second manner, first content of the first object is generated based on the first portion of the first data, and second content of the first object is generated based on the second portion of the first data.

- establishing, by a second electronic device, a communication connection to a first electronic device;
- sending, by the second electronic device, a first portion of first data to the first electronic device in a first manner based on the communication connection;
- and
- sending, by the second electronic device, a second portion of the first data to the first electronic device in a second manner based on the communication connection, wherein the first manner is different from the second manner, the second electronic device displays a first object based on the first portion of the first data and the second portion of the first data, the first electronic device generates first content of the first object based on the first portion of the first data, and the first electronic device generates second content of the first object based on the second portion of the first data.

- at least one processor;

- a memory coupled to the at least one processor with instructions stored thereon, wherein the instructions, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the electronic device to perform operations comprising:
- establishing a communication connection to a second electronic device;
