Abstract
Provided is a porous body which is capable of achieving both a high collection rate and a low pressure loss, and exhibiting sufficient durability strength over a long period of time. The porous body is composed of a material having a zeta potential of −160 mV to −60 mV at pH 9, has a pore diameter of 1-1000 nm as measured by a bubble point method, and a tensile strength of at least 30 N/25 mm.

A porous body made of a material having a zeta potential of −160 mV or more and −60 mV or less at pH 9,
- the porous body having:
- a pore diameter of 1 nm or more and 1000 nm or less as measured by a bubble point method;
- and
- a tensile strength of 30 N/25 mm or more.
A method for producing a porous body made of a material having a zeta potential of −160 mV or more and −60 mV or less at pH 9, the porous body having a pore diameter of 1 nm or more and 1000 nm or less as measured by a bubble point method and a tensile strength of at least 30 N/25 mm,
- the method comprising stretching an unstretched film at least containing a crystalline alicyclic structure-containing resin to form the porous body.
