A guide roller for a cargo doorway of an aircraft is provided. The guide roller includes a mandrel having a first end, a second end, and a plurality of cavities disposed between the first end and the second end; and a material injected into an inside the plurality of cavities of the mandrel.

A guide roller for a cargo doorway of an aircraft, comprising:
- a mandrel having a first end, a second end, and a plurality of cavities disposed between the first end and the second end;
- and
- a material injected into an inside the plurality of cavities of the mandrel.
A method of manufacturing a guide roller for a cargo doorway of an aircraft, comprising:
- forming a mandrel having a first end, a second end, and a plurality of cavities disposed between the first end and the second end;
- and
- injecting a rubber injection molding compound into an inside of the plurality of cavities of the mandrel.
