Abstract
The present invention relates to a method of managing problems occurred in an uplink skipping procedure by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system. In particular, the method includes the steps of: configuring an uplink transmission skipping on a dynamic uplink grant; receiving the dynamic uplink grant; performing the uplink transmission skipping based on there being no uplink data to be transmitted on the dynamic uplink grant; and based on a consecutive number of uplink transmission skipping being equal to or greater than a threshold, transmitting a report related to the uplink transmission skipping.
Claims12
A method for performing operations of a User Equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
- configuring an uplink transmission skipping on a dynamic uplink grant;
- receiving the dynamic uplink grant;
- performing the uplink transmission skipping based on there being no uplink data to be transmitted on the dynamic uplink grant;
- and
- based on a consecutive number of uplink transmission skipping being equal to or greater than a threshold, transmitting a report related to the uplink transmission skipping.
A user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system, the UE comprising:
- at least one transceiver;
- at least one processor;
- and
- at least one computer memory operably connectable to the at least one processor and storing instructions that, when executed, cause the at least one processor to perform operations comprising:
- configuring an uplink transmission skipping on a dynamic uplink grant;
- receiving the dynamic uplink grant;
- performing the uplink transmission skipping based on there being no uplink data to be transmitted on the dynamic uplink grant;
- and
- based on a consecutive number of uplink transmission skipping being equal to or greater than a threshold, transmitting a report related to the uplink transmission skipping.
An apparatus for a user equipment (UE), the apparatus comprising:
- at least one processor;
- and
- at least one computer memory operably connectable to the at least one processor and storing instructions that, when executed, cause the at least one processor to perform operations comprising:
- configuring an uplink transmission skipping on a dynamic uplink grant;
- receiving the dynamic uplink grant;
- performing the uplink transmission skipping based on there being no uplink data to be transmitted on the dynamic uplink grant;
- and
- based on a consecutive number of uplink transmission skipping being equal to or greater than a threshold, transmitting a report related to the uplink transmission skipping.
A non-transitory computer readable storage medium storing at least one computer program comprising instructions that, when executed by at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to perform operations for a user equipment (UE), the operations comprising:
- configuring an uplink transmission skipping on a dynamic uplink grant;
- receiving the dynamic uplink grant;
- performing the uplink transmission skipping based on there being no uplink data to be transmitted on the dynamic uplink grant;
- and
- based on a consecutive number of uplink transmission skipping being equal to or greater than a threshold, transmitting a report related to the uplink transmission skipping.
