Auto-configuration of dense information handling system mesh networks

An Information Handling System (IHS) comprising:

• at least one processor;
• and
• a memory coupled to the at least one processor, the memory having program instructions stored thereon that, upon execution by the at least one processor, cause the IHS to:
• run an advertisement service when the IHS is powered on;
• transmit a wireless local area network beacon information element comprising wireless node IHS specific information;
• dynamically scale transmit power of advertisement service advertisement packets by the IHS, from a low power;
• accept configuration, by a cluster host, in response to the IHS finding the cluster host, the IHS with a unique identification for a cluster of the cluster host and a unique frequency channel within the cluster of the cluster host;
• and
• identify, in response to the IHS not finding the cluster host, the IHS as a new cluster host IHS and defining a unique identification for the new cluster.

A non-transitory computer readable medium having program instructions stored thereon that, upon execution by an Information Handling System (IHS), causes the IHS to:

• run an advertisement service when the IHS is powered on;
• transmit a wireless local area network beacon information element comprising wireless node IHS specific information;
• dynamically scale transmit power of advertisement service advertisement packets, by the IHS, from a low power;
• accept configuration, by a cluster host, in response to the IHS finding the cluster host, the IHS with a unique identification for a cluster of the cluster host and a unique frequency channel within the cluster of the cluster host;
• and
• identify, in response to the IHS not finding the cluster host, the IHS as a new cluster host IHS and defining a unique identification for the new cluster.
