Abstract
A battery pack includes a battery cell including an electrode assembly and an electrode tab extending from the electrode assembly, and a protection circuit module on the battery cell, the protection circuit module including a substrate, a substrate tab on the substrate, the substrate tab being connected to the electrode tab, and a cut portion in the substrate in a width direction of the substrate at a position corresponding to the substrate tab, at least a part of the electrode tab being at a same height as the cut portion.

A battery pack, comprising:
- a battery cell including an electrode assembly and an electrode tab extending from the electrode assembly;
- and
- a protection circuit module on the battery cell, the protection circuit module including:
- a substrate,
- a substrate tab on the substrate, the substrate tab being connected to the electrode tab, and
- a cut portion in the substrate in a width direction of the substrate at a position corresponding to the substrate tab, at least a part of the electrode tab being at a same height as the cut portion.
