Abstract
A battery module includes a cell stack including a plurality of battery cells, and a module frame accommodating the cell stack, a bottom part of the module frame includes a first area, a second area, and a third area in which respective thermally conductive resin layers are formed, and the thermally conductive resin layers of the first area and the second area are each thicker than the thermally conductive resin layer of the third area.

A battery module comprising:
- a cell stack including a plurality of battery cells in a stacking direction, each of the plurality of battery cells having a first lead extending from a first end and a second lead extending from a second end of the respective battery cell of the plurality of battery cells, the first and second leads extending along an extension direction perpendicular to the stacking direction;
- and
- a module frame accommodating the cell stack, such that the cell stack is disposed above a bottom part of the module frame,
- wherein the bottom part of the module frame comprises a first area, a second area, and a third area, each having a thermally conductive resin layer disposed thereon, and
- wherein a thickness of the thermally conductive resin layers on each of the first area and the second area are greater than a thickness of the thermally conductive resin layer on the third area,
- wherein the third area is located between the first area and the second area, the first and second areas being spaced apart from each other along the extension direction.
