Abstract
A battery pack includes a battery cell, and a protection circuit module connected to the battery cell, the protection circuit module including a substrate, wherein the battery cell includes an electrode assembly, and a housing surrounding the electrode assembly, the housing including a terrace portion corresponding to a short side portion of the battery cell, a pair of side sealing portions respectively connected to both ends of the terrace portion and corresponding to a pair of long side portions of the battery cell, and a pair of corner portions at a connection portion between the pair of side sealing portions and the terrace portion if the pair of side sealing portions and the terrace portion are respectively folded and the substrate is between the pair of corner portions.

A battery pack, comprising:
- a battery cell;
- and
- a protection circuit module connected to the battery cell, the protection circuit module including a substrate, wherein the battery cell comprises:
- an electrode assembly;
- and
- a housing surrounding the electrode assembly, the housing comprising:
- a terrace portion corresponding to a short side portion of the battery cell;
- a pair of side sealing portions respectively connected to both ends of the terrace portion and corresponding to a pair of long side portions of the battery cell;
- and
- a pair of corner portions at a connection portion between the pair of side sealing portions and the terrace portion if the pair of side sealing portions and the terrace portion are respectively folded and the substrate is between the pair of corner portions.
