Abstract
A display device includes a display module including a first non-folding region, a second non-folding region, and a folding region disposed between the first and second non-folding regions, a first body disposed on the first non-folding region, a second body disposed on the second non-folding region, a plurality of rotation pin units connected to the first and second bodies to provide a biaxial rotation axis, which is overlapped with the folding region, to the first and second bodies, and a plurality of gears which rotate in conjunction with the rotation pin units. The plurality of gears is disposed on the rotation pin units.
Claims21
A display device, comprising:
- a display module;
- a first body disposed under the display module;
- a second body disposed under the display module and spaced apart from the first body;
- and
- a hinge module connected to the first and second bodies to provide biaxial rotation axes to the first and second bodies,
- wherein the hinge module includes a plurality of gears disposed between the first and second bodies and coupled to the first and second bodies,
- wherein the biaxial rotation axis is disposed above and spaced apart from all of the plurality of gears.
An electronic device, comprising:
- a display module including a display panel displaying an image and a input sensing portion sensing an external input;
- and
- a folding set folding the display module,
- wherein the folding set includes:
- a first body disposed under the display module;
- a second body disposed under the display module and spaced apart from the first body;
- and
- a hinge module connected to the first and second bodies to provide biaxial rotation axes to the first and second bodies,
- wherein the hinge module includes a plurality of gears disposed between the first and second bodies and coupled to the first and second bodies, and
- wherein the biaxial rotation axis is disposed above and spaced apart from all of the plurality of gears.
