Abstract
A computing device may receive traffic data from a plurality of traffic signals. The computing device may determine an action for each traffic signal of the plurality of traffic signals to take based on the traffic data. The computing device may send, to the plurality of traffic signals, instructions corresponding to the action for each traffic signal of the plurality of traffic signals to take.
Claims20
A method, comprising:
- receiving, by a central computing device, traffic data from a plurality of traffic signals;
- determining, by the central computing device, an action for each traffic signal of the plurality of traffic signals to take based on the traffic data;
- and
- sending, by the central computing device to the plurality of traffic signals, instructions corresponding to the action for each traffic signal of the plurality of traffic signals to take.
A computing system comprising:
- a central computing device comprising a memory and a processor device coupled to the memory, the processor device to:
- receive traffic data from a plurality of traffic signals;
- determine an action for each traffic signal of the plurality of traffic signals to take based on the traffic data;
- and
- send, to the plurality of traffic signals, instructions corresponding to the action for each of traffic signal of the plurality of traffic signals to take.
A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium that includes computer-executable instructions that, when executed, cause one or more processor devices to:
- receive traffic data from a plurality of traffic signals;
- determine an action for each traffic signal of the plurality of traffic signals to take based on the traffic data;
- and
- send, to the plurality of traffic signals, instructions corresponding to the action for each traffic signal of the plurality of traffic signals to take.
