Claims20
A method of operating a gaming system comprising a housing comprising an openable access door, a security monitoring circuit within the housing and configured to monitor the access door, a power distribution component within the housing, a plurality of mechanical input devices supported by the housing, a plurality of output devices comprising a display device supported by the housing and a speaker supported by the housing, a touch screen supported by the housing and associated with the display device, a sound card within the housing and operable with the speaker, a processor within the housing, and a trusted memory device within the housing, said method comprising:
- causing a display, via the display device, of a plurality of keno cards each comprising a plurality of spots;
- causing a display, via the display device, for each of the plurality of keno cards, of an indication of a plurality of player spots selected from the plurality of spots of that keno card, the quantity of player spots selectable via the touch screen;
- causing a display, via the display device, of a plurality of drawn spot indicators that each indicate one of the spots on each of the keno cards;
- causing a display, via the display device, of a triggering event occurring;
- causing a display, via the display device, of an extra spot indicator and a first activator on a first spot of the plurality of spots of the plurality of keno cards;
- causing a display, via the display device, of a movement of the extra spot indicator from the first spot to a second spot of one of the plurality of the keno cards determined based on the first activator;
- and
- causing a display, via the display device, for each keno card, of an indication of a quantity of the player spots of that keno card that match any of the drawn spot indicators and an indication of any spots on that keno card that are indicated by the extra spot indicator regardless of whether any of those spots are player spots.
- causing a display, via the display device, of a plurality of keno cards each comprising a plurality of spots;
- causing a display, via the display device, for each of the plurality of keno cards, of an indication of a plurality of player spots selected from the plurality of spots of that keno card, the quantity of player spots selectable via the touch screen;
- causing a display, via the display device, of a plurality of drawn spot indicators that each indicate one of the spots on each of the keno cards;
- causing a display, via the display device, of a triggering event occurring;
- causing a display, via the display device, of a plurality of activators respectfully associated with a first plurality of spots of the plurality of keno cards;
- causing a display, via the display device, of an extra spot indicator sequentially associated with each the plurality of activators and the first plurality of spots;
- and
- causing a display, via the display device, for each keno card, of an indication of a quantity of the player spots of that keno card that match any of the drawn spot indicators and an indication of any spots on that keno card that are indicated by the extra spot indicator regardless of whether any of those spots are player spots.
A method of operating a gaming system comprising a housing comprising an openable access door, a security monitoring circuit within the housing and configured to monitor the access door, a power distribution component within the housing, a plurality of mechanical input devices supported by the housing, a plurality of output devices comprising a display device supported by the housing and a speaker supported by the housing, a touch screen supported by the housing and associated with the display device, a sound card within the housing and operable with the speaker, a processor within the housing, and a trusted memory device within the housing, the method comprising:
- causing a display, via the display device, of a plurality of keno cards each comprising a plurality of spots;
- causing a display, via the display device, for each of the plurality of keno cards, of an indication of a plurality of player spots selected from the plurality of spots of that keno card, the quantity of player spots selectable via the touch screen;
- causing a display, via the display device, of a plurality of drawn spot indicators that each indicate one of the spots on each of the keno cards;
- causing a display, via the display device, of a triggering event occurring;
- causing a display, via the display device, of a quantity of activators respectfully associated with a quantity of spots of the plurality of keno cards, wherein the quantity of activators is at least two and the quantity of spots is at least two;
- causing a display, via the display device, of a quantity of extra spot indicators to each be associated with each of the activators, wherein the quantity of extra spot indicators is at least two;
- and
- causing a display, via the display device, for each keno card, of an indication of a quantity of the player spots of that keno card that match any of the drawn spot indicators and an indication of any spots on that keno card that are indicated by the extra spot indicator regardless of whether any of those spots are player spots.
