Abstract
In some examples, anthropometric parameters of a subject are ascertained from radiographic image data. Radiograph image data is transformed to a representation of a lower dimensionality than the dimensionality of the image data by an machine learning processor. The representation of the radio graph image data is mapped to anthropometric parameters, directly or first to an intermediate three-dimensional optical image of the subject, and then from the intermediate three-dimensional optical image to anthropometric parameters.
Claims24
A method of determining anthropometric parameters of a subject, the method comprising:
- acquiring a first data set representing a radiographic image of the subject, the first data having a first dimensionality;
- transforming, using a processor, the first data set to a second data set having a second dimensionality, the second dimensionality being lower than the first dimensionality;
- and
- mapping, using the processor, the second data set to a third data set, the third data set representing a set of anthropometric parameters and having a third dimensionality.

A system for determining anthropometric parameters of a subject, the system comprising:
- a radiographic imaging device configured to acquire a radiographic image of the subject;
- a processor;
- and
- a memory coupled to the processor, the memory storing instructions that, when executed by the processor, perform a set of operations comprising:
- receiving from the radiographic imaging device a first data set representing a radiographic image of the subject, the first data having a first dimensionality;
- transforming the first data set to a second data set having a second dimensionality, the second dimensionality being lower than the first dimensionality;
- and
- mapping the second data set to a third data set, the third data set representing a set of anthropometric parameters and having a third dimensionality.

A non-transient, computer-readable memory device storing instructions executable by a processor to perform a method comprising,
- receiving a first data set representing a radiographic image of the subject, the first data having a first dimensionality;
- transforming the first data set to a second data set having a second dimensionality, the second dimensionality being lower than the first dimensionality;
- and
- mapping the second data set to a third data set, the third data set representing a set of anthropometric parameters and having a third dimensionality.
