Abstract
An embodiment causes generating, by a trained model, a training prompt response to a training prompt in a set of training prompts. An embodiment trains, using the training prompt and the training prompt response, an attribution model, the training resulting in a trained attribution model. An embodiment attributes, using the trained attribution model and a first prompt response generated by a fine-tuned model in response to a prompt, the fine-tuned model to a foundation model.

A computer-implemented method comprising:
- causing generating, by a trained model, a training prompt response to a training prompt in a set of training prompts;
- training, using the training prompt and the training prompt response, an attribution model, the training resulting in a trained attribution model;
- and
- attributing, using the trained attribution model and a first prompt response generated by a fine-tuned model in response to a prompt, the fine-tuned model to a foundation model.
A computer program product comprising one or more computer readable storage media, and program instructions collectively stored on the one or more computer readable storage media, the program instructions executable by a processor to cause the processor to perform operations comprising:
- causing generating, by a trained model, a training prompt response to a training prompt in a set of training prompts;
- training, using the training prompt and the training prompt response, an attribution model, the training resulting in a trained attribution model;
- and
- attributing, using the trained attribution model and a first prompt response generated by a fine-tuned model in response to a prompt, the fine-tuned model to a foundation model.
A computer system comprising a processor and one or more computer readable storage media, and program instructions collectively stored on the one or more computer readable storage media, the program instructions executable by the processor to cause the processor to perform operations comprising:
- causing generating, by a trained model, a training prompt response to a training prompt in a set of training prompts;
- training, using the training prompt and the training prompt response, an attribution model, the training resulting in a trained attribution model;
- and
- attributing, using the trained attribution model and a first prompt response generated by a fine-tuned model in response to a prompt, the fine-tuned model to a foundation model.
