Abstract
One embodiment of a method for determining user intent includes receiving user input that comprises first natural language text, performing one or more operations to map the user input to one or more classes of intents included in a plurality of classes of intents, and responsive to determining that the user input does not map to any class of intents, generating, via a first trained language model, second natural language text requesting additional user input.
Claims20
A computer-implemented method for determining user intent, the method comprising:
- receiving user input that comprises first natural language text;
- performing one or more operations to map the user input to one or more classes of intents included in a plurality of classes of intents;
- and
- responsive to determining that the user input does not map to any class of intents, generating, via a first trained language model, second natural language text requesting additional user input.
One or more non-transitory computer-readable storage media including instructions that, when executed by at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to perform steps for determining user intent, the steps comprising:
- receiving user input that comprises first natural language text;
- performing one or more operations to map the user input to one or more classes of intents included in a plurality of classes of intents;
- and
- responsive to determining that the user input does not map to any class of intents, generating, via a trained language model, second natural language text requesting additional user input.
A system, comprising:
- one or more memories storing instructions;
- and
- one or more processors that are coupled to the one or more memories and, when executing the instructions, are configured to:
- receive user input that comprises first natural language text,
- perform one or more operations to map the user input to one or more classes of intents included in a plurality of classes of intents, and
- responsive to determining that the user input does not map to any class of intents, generate, via a first trained language model, second natural language text requesting additional user input.
