- the one or more message query result groups are determined based on locations of the one or more messages including the at least one search term;
- and
- concurrently displaying the one or more message query result groups and the one or more messages includes displaying, via the one or more displays, a first message of the one or more messages under a first message query result group of the one or more message query result groups, wherein the first message query result group of the one or more message query result groups corresponds to a location of the first message of the one or more messages.
A method, comprising:
- at an electronic device with one or more input devices and one or more displays:
- receiving, via the one or more input devices, a search query into a search input element, wherein the search query includes at least one search term for searching messages in a messaging application;
- and
- in response to receiving the search query, concurrently displaying, via the one or more displays, one or more message query result groups and one or more messages, wherein:
- the one or more messages include the at least one search term;
- the one or more message query result groups are determined based on locations of the one or more messages including the at least one search term;
- and
- concurrently displaying the one or more message query result groups and the one or more messages includes displaying, via the one or more displays, a first message of the one or more messages under a first message query result group of the one or more message query result groups, wherein the first message query result group of the one or more message query result groups corresponds to a location of the first message of the one or more messages.
