According to an aspect, a detection device includes: an annular housing; a first flexible substrate provided along a shape of the annular housing; a battery provided on a first surface of the first flexible substrate; a light source provided in a first area of a second surface of the first flexible substrate opposite the first surface; and an optical sensor that is provided in a second area different from the first area of the second surface of the first flexible substrate and includes a plurality of photodiodes.

A detection device comprising:
- an annular housing;
- a first flexible substrate provided along a shape of the annular housing;
- a battery provided on a first surface of the first flexible substrate;
- a light source provided in a first area of a second surface of the first flexible substrate opposite the first surface;
- and
- an optical sensor that is provided in a second area different from the first area of the second surface of the first flexible substrate and includes a plurality of photodiodes.
