Abstract
A magazine assembly for a firearm and a related method are disclosed. The assembly has a magazine housing defining a track, and a follower assembly. The magazine housing is configured to constrain a cartridge as the cartridge is moved within the magazine assembly such that majority of a proximal surface area of the cartridge does not contact the magazine housing, and a distal tip of the cartridge does not contact the magazine housing.

A method of manufacturing a rear cover assembly comprising:
- a. providing a window, having at least one flange and at least one protrusion
- b. molding a rear cover body onto the window in a configuration such that the protrusion extends towards an interior region of the rear cover body in an over-molding process.
A rear cover assembly, wherein the rear cover assembly comprises:
- a rear cover, wherein the rear cover is configured with a recess;
- a clear window comprising a flange for engaging the recess;
- and
- a track ridge.
