Abstract
A surface mounted air diverting system includes an attachment plate device having a central opening for engaging a wall mounted air supply vent. Connectors are positioned adjacent to the central opening and removably secure an air diverter device. The air diverter device includes a main body that is secured to the wall on which the air supply vent is located. The device includes an air inlet opening and a first air outlet opening along one side, and a second air outlet opening on the other side. A diverter block transitions the device between an open position and a closed position. When in the closed position, air from the supply vent is routed to the second air outlet opening, and in the open position, air from the supply vent is routed to the first air outlet opening.
Claims12
An air diverting system, comprising:
- a main body having a front surface, a back surface a first side, a second side and an interior space;
- an air inlet opening that is positioned along the back surface of the main body;
- a first air outlet opening that is positioned along the main body adjacent to the first side;
- and
- a second air outlet opening that is positioned along the main body adjacent to the second side,
- wherein the interior space of the main body defines a hollow pathway configured to receive forced air from the inlet opening.
