Electric range

An electric range, comprising:

• a case;
• a cover plate coupled to the case, on which an object to be heated is placed;
• a plurality of heating units accommodated in the case and disposed below the cover plate;
• and
• a plurality of base plates disposed in the case, the plurality of heating units being provided on the plurality of base plates, wherein the plurality of base plates is disposed side by side to cover a cross-sectional area of the case;
• and
• a reinforcement beam that connects two opposite side surfaces of the case,
• wherein at least one of the plurality of base plates includes the flat plate, and wherein the plurality of bent portions comprises a first bent portion that extends from the flat plate in a vertical direction, and a second bent portion that extends from the first bent portion in a horizontal direction such that the flat plate, the first bent portion, and the second bent portion form a stepped shape or a Z shape,
• wherein the reinforcement beam at least one of is disposed between first bent portions formed at neighboring edges of adjacent base plates, or supports at least one of the second bent portions formed at neighboring edges of adjacent base plates.
