Clothes treatment apparatus, and method for assembling clothes treatment apparatus

A laundry treatment apparatus comprising:

• a cabinet that defines an outer appearance of the laundry treatment apparatus;
• an inner case disposed in the cabinet, the inner case having (i) a laundry treatment space configured to accommodate laundry therein and (ii) an opening that is defined at a front side of the inner case and configured to introduce the laundry into the laundry treatment space and to provide access to the laundry in the laundry treatment space;
• a machine compartment disposed in the cabinet and disposed at a lower portion of the inner case;
• a heat supply disposed at the machine compartment, the heat supply comprising (i) an evaporator configured to remove moisture from air introduced from the laundry treatment space to the machine compartment, (ii) a condenser configured to heat the air, and (iii) a compressor configured to supply compressed refrigerant to the condenser;
• a controller disposed at the machine compartment and configured to control the compressor;
• a circulation duct that is disposed at the machine compartment and defines a flow channel configured to circulate the air from the laundry treatment space, the circulation duct defining a heat exchanger installation portion that accommodates the evaporator and the condenser;
• and
• a base that is disposed at the machine compartment and supports a lower portion of the circulation duct, the base including a controller installation portion that is disposed below a lower portion of the heat exchanger installation portion and accommodates the controller.
