Abstract
A compound that contains at least two linear alkylene groups, a trivalent or higher valent linking group to which the at least two linear alkylene groups are bonded, and a reactive silyl group that is bonded to the trivalent or higher valent linking group; a composition and a surface treatment agent that contain the compound; and an article and a method of producing an article that use the surface treatment agent.

A compound comprising at least two linear alkylene groups, a trivalent or higher valent linking group to which each of the at least two linear alkylene groups is bonded, and a reactive silyl group bonded to the trivalent or higher valent linking group.
A compound represented by the following Formula (1):
- [CH3(CH2)m1—]jY1[—Si(R)nL3-n]g (1)
- wherein, in the Formula (1),
- Y1 is a (j+g)-valent linking group,
- each R independently represents a monovalent hydrocarbon group,
- each L independently represents a hydrolyzable group or a hydroxy group,
- n is an integer from 0 to 2,
- j is an integer of 2 or more,
- g is an integer of 1 or more, and
- m1 is an integer of 0 or more.
A compound represented by the following Formula (1-1):
- [CH3(CH2)m1—]j1Y10a(B)g1 (1-1)
- wherein, in the Formula (1-1),
- Y10a is a (j1+g1)-valent linking group,
- each B independently represents -QL-CH═CH2, wherein QL is a single bond or a divalent linking group,
- j1 is an integer of 2 or more,
- g1 is an integer of 1 or more, and
- m1 is an integer of 0 or more.
