Abstract
An aqueous ink for ink jet recording includes lignosulfonic acid or a salt thereof. The aqueous ink for ink jet recording includes water, a water-soluble organic solvent, a coloring agent and lignosulfonic acid or a salt thereof, in which the coloring agent is at least one selected from the group consisting of a self-dispersed pigment, a resin dispersion pigment, and a water-soluble dye.

An aqueous ink comprising:
- water;
- a water-soluble organic solvent;
- a coloring agent;
- and
- lignosulfonic acid or a salt thereof, wherein
- the coloring agent is at least one selected from the group consisting of a self-dispersed pigment, a resin dispersion pigment, and a water-soluble dye.
