Abstract
The present invention relates to peptides, their use in the treatment, amelioration or prevention of chronically active autoimmune inflammation, in particular rheumatoid arthritis, and to pharmaceutical compositions comprising the same.

A peptide comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 1 (GEPGIAGFKGEQGPK), or a derivative thereof, wherein one or two amino acids, except the lysine corresponding to position 9 of SEQ ID NO:
- 1, have been replaced by another amino acid or have been removed, and wherein the lysine corresponding to position 9 of SEQ ID NO:
- 1 is glycosylated with a D-fructosyl residue.
