Abstract
A method for the maintenance of an electric bike includes (i) activating a maintenance mode of a drive unit of the electric bike in response to an activation signal, wherein the electric bike, during the maintenance mode, is in a stationary state relative to surroundings, and (ii) operating the drive unit in the maintenance mode in response to a one-time user input by way of the input unit.

A method for the maintenance of an electric bike, comprising:
- activating a maintenance mode of a drive unit of the electric bike in response to an activation signal,
- wherein the electric bike, during the maintenance mode, is in a stationary state relative to surroundings, and
- operating the drive unit in the maintenance mode in response to a one-time user input by way of the input unit.
