Computer system, computer-implemented method and methods of treatment

A computer-implemented method for generating a playlist of music audio files suitable to provide healthy brain behaviour in a human subject, the method including the steps of:

• (i) receiving a file of electroencephalogram (EEG) data comprising EEG data of healthy brain behaviour of a human subject;
• (ii) audifying the EEG data of healthy brain behaviour of the human subject;
• (iii) analysing the audified EEG data according to a neuro-physiological model of the principal areas and networks of the human brain involved in processing music, to produce analysis data of the audified EEG data;
• (iv) accessing music audio files including respective music file audio data;
• (v) analysing the music file audio data of the music audio files according to the neuro-physiological model of the principal areas and networks of the human brain involved in processing music, to produce analysis data of the music file audio data;
• (vi) comparing the analysis data of the audified EEG data with the analysis data of the music file audio data, to match the analysis data of the audified EEG data with matched analysis data of the music file audio data, to produce a playlist of matched music audio files corresponding to the matched music file audio data, wherein the matched music audio files are suitable to entrain healthy brain behaviour in the human subject;
• and
• (vii) storing the playlist of matched music audio files.

A method of treatment of a human subject, the method including the step of playing a playlist of matched music audio files, generated by a computer-implemented method, to the human subject, to entrain healthy brain behaviour in the human subject, including musical entrainment of brain activity, the computer-implemented method including the steps of:

• (i) receiving a file of electroencephalogram (EEG) data comprising EEG data of healthy brain behaviour of a human subject;
• (ii) audifying the EEG data of healthy brain behaviour of the human subject;
• (iii) analysing the audified EEG data according to a neuro-physiological model of the principal areas and networks of the human brain involved in processing music, to produce analysis data of the audified EEG data;
• (iv) accessing music audio files including respective music file audio data;
• (v) analysing the music file audio data of the music audio files according to the neuro-physiological model of the principal areas and networks of the human brain involved in processing music, to produce analysis data of the music file audio data;
• (vi) comparing the analysis data of the audified EEG data with the analysis data of the music file audio data, to match the analysis data of the audified EEG data with matched analysis data of the music file audio data, to produce a playlist of matched music audio files corresponding to the matched music file audio data, wherein the matched music audio files are suitable to entrain healthy brain behaviour in the human subject;
• and
• (vii) storing the playlist of matched music audio files.
