A sacroiliac joint implant system, comprising:
- a primary implant configured to be received in a sacroiliac joint of a patient;
- and
- a secondary implant configured to couple with the primary implant, the secondary implant comprising:
- a first anchor configured to be driven within a sacrum of a patient, the first anchor comprising a distal end having an inwardly facing beveled edge;
- and
- a second anchor configured to be driven within an ilium of the patient, the second anchor comprising a distal end having an inwardly facing beveled edge;
- wherein the beveled edge of the first anchor and the beveled edge of the second anchor are shaped and positioned to cause compression between the sacrum and the ilium when the first anchor is driven into the sacrum and the second anchor is driven into the ilium.
