Radar apparatus

A radar signal processor, comprising:

• a phase rotation circuit which, in operation, applies phase rotations to a plurality of transmission signals for each transmission period in which a plurality of transmission signals is transmitted;
• a multiplex circuit which, in operation, applies frequency offsets and multiplexing transmission to the plurality of transmission signals for each transmission period in which the plurality of transmission signals is transmitted,
• wherein a combination of the phase rotations varies for each transmission period and is repeatedly applied for a first number of transmission periods, and is different for each of the plurality of transmission signals in each transmission period,
• wherein the first number is larger than a number of the plurality of transmission antennas, and
• wherein the frequency offsets are same for the plurality of transmission signals in each transmission period.

A radar signal processing method, comprising:

• applying phase rotations to a plurality of transmission signals for each transmission period in which the plurality of transmission signals is transmitted;
• applying frequency offsets and multiplexing transmission to the plurality of transmission signals for each transmission period in which a plurality of transmission signals is transmitted;
• and
• outputting the plurality of transmission signals to a plurality of transmission antennas;
• wherein a combination of the phase rotations varies for each transmission period and is repeatedly applied for a first number of transmission periods, and is different for each of the plurality of transmission signals in each transmission period,
• wherein the first number is larger than a number of transmission antennas, and
• wherein the frequency offsets are same for the plurality of transmission signals in each transmission period.
