Abstract
A liquid chromatograph includes a controller, a liquid feeding unit, a first separation column, a second separation column, a first switch valve, and a second switch valve. Each of the first switch valve and the second switch valve has two states. The controller combines the two states of each of the first switch valve and the second switch valve to form first to third forms in a flow path including the first switch valve and the second switch valve, thereby providing SARA analysis using the first separation column and the second separation column in the fractionating liquid chromatograph.
Claims8
A liquid chromatograph comprising:
- a first column;
- a second column;
- a liquid feeding unit configured to feed a mobile phase to at least one of the first column and the second column;
- a first switch valve having at least two connection states;
- a second switch valve connected to the first switch valve and having at least two connection states;
- and
- a control unit configured to combine one of the at least two connection states of the first switch valve and one of the at least two connection states of the second switch valve to form a first form, a second form, and a third form in a flow path including the first switch valve and the second switch valve, wherein
- in the first form, the mobile phase from the liquid feeding unit is fed in order of a first end of the first column, a second end of the first column, a first end of the second column, and a second end of the second column,
- in the second form, the mobile phase from the liquid feeding unit is not introduced into the first column, and the mobile phase from the liquid feeding unit is fed from the second end of the second column to the first end of the second column, and
- in the third form, the mobile phase from the liquid feeding unit is fed from the second end of the first column to the first end of the first column, and the mobile phase from the liquid feeding unit is not introduced into the second column.
