Abstract
The present invention provides a biodegradable article comprising a cellulosic film that is coated with a natural wax composition on one surface and is laminated to a support layer comprising a paper-based substrate on the opposite surface.

A biodegradable article comprising a cellulosic film that is coated with a natural wax composition on one surface and is laminated to a support layer comprising a paper-based substrate on the opposite surface.
A cellulosic film coated with a wax composition, wherein the wax composition comprises a natural wax.
A method of manufacturing a biodegradable article, comprising/laminating a cellulosic film to a support layer comprising a paper-based substrate;
- and coating the cellulosic film with a natural wax composition on the opposite surface of the film to that adjacent the support layer.
