Cd40l antagonist and uses thereof

A method for treating an autoimmune disease or disorder, comprising administering a CD40L-specific Tn3 scaffold protein to a subject in need thereof;

• wherein the CD40L-specific Tn3 scaffold protein comprises two monomers and a human serum albumin, wherein each monomer comprises the polypeptide sequence of SEQ ID NO:
• 3, and
• wherein the CD40L-specific Tn3 scaffold is administered at a dose of between approximately 500 mg to 3000 mg.

A method of reducing inflammation in a subject, comprising administering a CD40L-specific Tn3 scaffold protein to a subject in need thereof;

• wherein the CD40L-specific Tn3 scaffold protein comprises two monomers and a human serum albumin, wherein each monomer comprises the polypeptide sequence of SEQ ID NO:
• 3, and
• wherein the CD40L-specific Tn3 scaffold is administered at a dose of between approximately 500 mg to 3000 mg.

A method for suppressing a B cell-mediated immune response in a subject, comprising administering a CD40L-specific Tn3 scaffold protein to a subject in need thereof;

• wherein the CD40L-specific Tn3 scaffold protein comprises two monomers and a human serum albumin, wherein each monomer comprises the polypeptide sequence of SEQ ID NO:
• 3, and
• wherein the CD40L-specific Tn3 scaffold is administered at a dose of between approximately 500 mg to 3000 mg.

A method for treating an autoimmune disease or disorder, the method comprising administering a CD40L-specific Tn3 scaffold protein to a subject in need thereof;

• wherein the CD40L-specific Tn3 scaffold protein comprises SEQ ID NO:
• 1, and
• wherein the CD40L-specific Tn3 scaffold is administered at a dose of 1500 mg.

A method for treating an autoimmune disease or disorder comprising administering a CD40L-specific Tn3 scaffold protein to a subject in need thereof, wherein the CD40L-specific Tn3 scaffold protein comprises SEQ ID NO:

• 1, and
• wherein the CD40L-specific Tn3 scaffold is administered at a dose of 3000 mg.
