Solid forms of psilocin and methods for their production and use with one or more improved properties as compared to psilocin and amorphous psilocin salts thereof are provided.

A solid form of psilocin, at least a portion of which is crystalline and is characterized by an X-ray powder diffraction (XRPD) pattern comprising peaks at about 14.71,15.75, 19.57 and 23.30 2θ,° using Cu Kα radiation.
