A compound of the formula:
A dietary supplement comprising a therapeutically effective dose of creatine carbonate.
A pharmaceutical composition comprising a therapeutically effective dose of creatine carbonate.
A method of synthesizing creatine carbonate comprising reacting a creatine salt with a carbonate salt.
A method comprising administering creatine carbonate to a subject at a daily dosage 1 to 30,000 mg, wherein the subject is administered the creatine carbonate in one or more doses.
A method of decreasing lactate production from physical activity, the method comprising administering to a subject prior to the subject performing the physical activity an effective amount of creatine carbonate.
An effervescent formulation comprising:
- creatine carbonate;
- and
- an acid.
