• wherein the emergency stopping circuit has a checking circuit which is suitable and intended for triggering a request for the release of the emergency stopping maneuver planned by the emergency stop assistance system by another passenger of the vehicle, in particular by a front passenger, depending on the generated system release variable, and for detecting a special release variable depending on input by the other passenger, in particular the front passenger, wherein the emergency stopping circuit is suitable and intended for triggering a performance of an adapted emergency stopping maneuver on the basis of the system release variable, the special release variable, and the planned emergency stopping maneuver by the circuit for executing an automatic driving mode and for performing the planned emergency stopping maneuver.
