Abstract
An acoustically active component for a motor vehicle, to a method for producing an acoustically active component for a motor vehicle, and to a method for using a component according to the invention in a motor vehicle in an intended manner. The components are particularly suitable for use as acoustically active interior or exterior components.
Claims22
An acoustically effective component for a motor vehicle, the component comprising:
- a) a bag formed from at least one plastic film and which forms a chamber, and
- b) a filling, which is arranged in the chamber, wherein the filling has foam particles of open-cell and/or mixed-cell foams,
- wherein
- the filling has a mixture of foam particles, wherein the mixture
- i) comprises a first portion of non-viscoelastic foam, and
- ii) comprises a second portion of viscoelastic foam.
A method for producing an acoustically effective component, the method including the following steps:
- a) providing a bag formed from at least one plastic film and which forms a chamber,
- b) providing a filling, which has foam particles of open-cell and/or mixed-cell foams, wherein the filling has a mixture of foam particles, wherein the mixture
- i) comprises a first portion of non-viscoelastic foam, and
- ii) comprises a second portion of viscoelastic foam, and
- c) inserting the filling into the bag.

A method for the intended use of a component according to the invention in a motor vehicle, wherein the bag is compressed relative to its rest position before it is arranged at its intended place of use in the motor vehicle.
