Abstract
A method for providing multi-part persistent content includes requesting a content item from a content server, and receiving a first portion of a multi-part content item. The method also includes providing a state of execution of the multi-part content item to the content server, and after providing the state of execution, requesting a second content item. The method also includes receiving a second portion of the multi-part content item. The second portion is selected by the content server based on the state of execution of the multi-part content item.
Claims20
A method for providing multi-part persistent content, comprising:
- requesting, by a client device from a content server, a content item;
- receiving, by the client device from the content server, a first portion of a multi-part content item;
- providing, by the client device to the content server, a state of execution of the multi-part content item;
- after providing the state of execution, requesting, by the client device from the content server, a second content item;
- and
- receiving, by the client device from the content server, a second portion of the multi-part content item, the second portion selected by the content server based on the state of execution of the multi-part content item.
A method for providing multi-part persistent content, comprising:
- receiving, by a content server from a client device, a request for a content item;
- providing, by the content server to the client device, a first portion of a multi-part content item;
- receiving, by the content server from the client device, a state of execution of the multi-part content item;
- after receiving the state of execution, receiving, by the content server from the client device, a request for a second content item;
- selecting, by the content server, a second portion of the multi-part content item based on the state of execution of the multi-part content item;
- and
- providing, by the content server to the client device, a second portion of the multi-part content item.
A system for providing multi-part persistent content, comprising:
- a client device comprising a network interface in communication with a content server and a processor configured to:
- request, from the content server, a content item;
- receive, from the content server, a first portion of a multi-part content item;
- provide, to the content server, a state of execution of the multi-part content item;
- after providing the state of execution, request, from the content server, a second content item;
- and
- receive, from the content server, a second portion of the multi-part content item, the second portion selected by the content server based on the state of execution of the multi-part content item.
