Remote control of a mobile device

A method performed by an emulating device comprising:

• obtaining a representation of a screen displayed on a mobile device;
• transmitting the representation of the screen to a first computing device;
• receiving, from the first computing device, a control command comprising instructions to perform an action with respect to the mobile device;
• converting the control command to an input command based on an input device emulated by the emulating device;
• and
• transmitting the input command to the mobile device.

A switching device, comprising:

• a plurality of ports comprising a first port communicatively coupled to a mobile device;
• a screen obtainer configured to:
• obtain a representation of a screen displayed on the mobile device, and
• transmit the representation of the screen to a first computing device;
• and
• a control emulator configured to:
• receive, from the first computing device, a control command comprising instructions to perform an action with respect to the mobile device,
• convert the control command to an input command based on an input device emulated by the emulating device, and
• transmit the input command to the mobile device.
