Stable cannabinoid formulations

An alcohol-free oral liquid pharmaceutical formulation consisting essentially of:

• about 20% to about 35% w/w cannabidiol having a purity of greater than 98% w/w;
• about 5% to about 30% w/w polyethylene glycol;
• about 5% to about 35% w/w propylene glycol;
• and
• about 4% to about 8% water;
• wherein the composition contains less than 0.3% w/w delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol and wherein the formulation provides a cannabidiol Cmax at least 20 times greater when administered to a subject in a fed condition than when administered to a subject in a fasted condition.
