Abstract
Methods and systems are disclosed for removing a tattoo from a subject's skin by application of a cold plasma that is delivered via a liquid-gas mixture. The plasma can be delivered in the form of gas bubbles, in which at least a portion of gas is in the form of a plasma.
Claims10
A system for removing a tattoo from a subject's skin, the system comprising:
- a gas source for providing a gas,
- a liquid source for providing a liquid,
- a plasma generator for receiving the gas and liquid and generating an activated liquid-gas mixture comprising the liquid with plasma gas bubbles, and
- a conduit for delivery of the activated liquid-gas mixture to a target tattooed region.
